Dear Car Thief,
Thank you for only making it three blocks.
Thank you for not leaving the car seat on the side of the road.
We have our car back now.
We hope you like stripes and mashed food.

Wow - who caught him/her/them? So curious!
ReplyDeleteOh My! So glad they were caught & car is tucked safely back in your driveway. I used to think it was so funny when Grandpa Chuck would fret over making sure his car/motorhome/truck was locked when they were visiting with us in Fall River. After all, it is a quiet, happy suburb where we know all of our neighbors, not some crime-ridden metropolis. Then my car was stolen (two years ago now). He was right all along & the laugh is on me! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove Aunt Chris
I know Auntie Chris! We never locked our car doors ... definitely a thing of the past now!
ReplyDeleteWe were so lucky. They snatched it at four in the morning and Rob goes to work at 4:30 so we noticed and were able to call the police right away. They called us back less than ten minutes later saying they had it. What a roller coaster of emotions! Other than some spilt beer and beer bottles (so classy) everything is in tip top shape.
That is crazy! I guess your early bird Rob(bin) got to eat the worm over those other robb(er)ins! Ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a crazy story!! So glad everything is alright.
